Marginally Speaking

A blog about the Greek New Testament, its history and transmission

“The end then of learning is to repair the ruins of our first parents.” — John Milton

Who am I?

I am a Presbyterian pastor and study textual criticism and the history and transmission of the New Testament. I also work in Bible translation with the Costa Rican Bible Society. Currently, I am working on a PhD thesis at the University of Birmingham (UK) in New Testament with a focus on catena manuscripts in the Catholic Epistles, specifically, Jude and 2 Peter.

The purpose of this blog is twofold: 1) to inform friends and family and other interested parties about what I am doing, and 2) to write about the text of the New Testament and related topics.

Read more about what I am doing here.
